Originally designed in the 1930s by Robert Dumas, son-in-law to Emile Hermes, who headed between 1951-1978, this designer bag was created with straps. The shape was a traperoid shape with a cutout flap, two trianular gussets, two side straps and a handle. The brand was modernised with this bold new design.
It is said that Grace Kelly was photographsed wearing this luxury designer bag and the result of this was international expsosure leading to rename the bag the Kelly.
This extremely rare Kelly designer bag in the Vintage Boo Boo collection is the Mini Kelly in beton shade and is crafted from Crocodile leather with matte finishing.
